What happened to the Grass Lake Farmers Market?

We’re it! With a new board, a new name, and a fresh model. The weekly market is replaced by a monthly market. Music in the Park, an independent organization, will continue to offer concerts on the first and third Wednesday of the month. Look for details coming soon!

 

Who manages the Grass Lake Market?

The market is a 501c3 organized by a dedicated board and supported by community volunteers. If you’re interested in joining the team, contact us at grasslakemarket@gmail.com or 517-914-1052.

 

Where can I park?

Grass Lake offers two public parking lots:

• Lost Railway Museum lot

• Lake Street – Behind Cattlemans and The Copper Nail.

• Village Hall – 119 South Lake Street.

Street parking is also available along Michigan Avenue, and along side streets.

 

When does the market take place?

The market runs on the second Wednesday of each month from May through September, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

 

Do vendors need insurance?

Please contact us for vendor requirements, including insurance details.

 

Can I share a booth?

Yes, as long as both businesses would qualify independently under vendor rules. Both businesses will need to fill out a vendor application and indicate in the proper field they will be sharing a booth and with whom. $10 fee.
